the fifth member in the donner party has arrived from southern alaska. whiter than the rest of us, he should be a good burn victim for tomorrow. though mostly interested in birds, he’ll no doubt be subjected to the water tomorrow. b is trying to convince us all to sky dive. im in for sure but the rest of the party seems to think that this isnt the last vacation they want to take. drove to the north shore today. im formulating a theory on island dwelling people that i’ll relinquish upon final evaluation and leaving. found a great beach break to surf absolutely not on the weekend. went to a beach that we hadnt before: moloa’a. quite nice and nice to swim. also got to see a white dood making jerky in the sun out of parts of his body that should not see that much sunlight. hmmm…anyway, off for more adventures…..15-20 foot faces tomorrow on the north end. new swell, and island dwellers are amping, i’ll kype some 2-4 ft here in the south. cheers to 14 degrees in p-town……82 here. -c
