most of us traveled to pakala beach today on the south side if the isle. we’ve been to this beach before but it never seems to fail that it is different every time. still had nice red murky and muddy water to keep us out and of course, nobody on it. this time people were actually suring infinities surf break unlike any other time we’d been down the trail. Rumor has it that the murky river mouth harbors a few men in grey suits and an occasional barracuda that might jump over a swimmer or surfer. sounds like fun. on top of that, got loads more sun, loads more snorkling, and then a little more sun. heard that oregon is still wet and cold. ended the day w/ some nice thai cooking care of b and myself, though now my hands smell like fresh sea bass…….good day for a thursday w/ nothing to do infinitely! -c
