holo holo = heave n hearl
so on our little boatrip today we went along the na pali coastline, which is the east side of the island and the side that has no roads and no civilization on it. on the way, though early, we got to watch of spinner dolphins in alpha-sleep breaching. saw most of the coastline, tons of birds, a few crazy campers, and a load of swells. yeah, the kind of swells that were bigger than our boat. this was the first part of the grand adventure. next, off to the islet north of niihau, the forbidden island. we had high seas and high wind that made one of us particularly sick! my little sailor girl and 3 other passengers turned green on the bumpy, torrent, water blaster ride over. Got to snorkle a pretty great spot w/ 80+ ft of visibility. Then the ride back. More squalls, more sick, more waves in the face. All-in-all, was a fun trip for me, but i doubt i’d take it again, especially alone which i would have to considering my green company. anyway, becki sperley’s birthday is tomorrow (24th) so we should all call and wish her that @ work: 503 436 2480. We will and the sweet old hawaii ladies @ dukes will too! cheers to water blasting

picture this, arms wrapped around a tiny little vacuum toilet in a room that’s smaller than an airline lavatory, little bits of used toilet paper scattered about the wet floor and small pubic hairs along the rim and 30 other people that have been using it for the last 2 hours while skipping across 20 foot swells with your feet levetating above your head because its so bumpy. i didnt see it but i heard it and have a pretty good image of what it must of been like!! haha….she’s no sailor but she swears like one! by the way, serious about the line of appearal!
