perched in our front yard at midnight is who. he/she was hunting while cobi was trying to do his business. this fine feathered friend was approx 3-4 ft. tall. we sat about 4 ft. away from him/her for 5 minutes in complete awe…. also pretending to be mice in the yard to get his/her attention. then in a blink of an eye he/she was up and 1/2 way down the block after something. it was like magic. very impressive! i’m guessing it’s a northern spotted owl…. waitin’ to hear from bird brain to see if i’m correct. -b
