so for those of you that dont already know. yes, we are headed to kauai later this month. after today’s mini-monsoon whereby our 20,000mm rainjackets became soggy sponges following a 50 foot stroll along the bank of the muddy river, even warm rain sounds nice. we swam our way around town today and paddled our way home in effort to say that we did. sometimes i swear it would be better to have a canoe than a car living here.

i digress.

good to see george and tara this weekend and congrats to them on their recent engagment! i still say a rustic setting in eastern oregon in the heat of september while he wears the bovine that we all scrap from would be quite memorable. cheers to you guys! -c
